About Radiopaq

Radiopaq was formed in October 2007, with the aim of delivering fantastic internet media and radio content from around the world through both a website and an physical internet media device.

Our first product was this very site - Radiopaq.com. Allowing you to listen to worldwide internet radio stations and podcasts from around the world, we also provide news, weather and traffic from trusted sources.

After receiving feedback from users, we began to update the site to include extra features our listeners wanted. We also began to work with more partners, adding more content and useful functions to the site. The growing Radiopaq audience and interest from partners around the world was the best feedback of all.

We also created the Rp5, an internet radio that allows you to enjoy Radiopaq.com even when you're away from your computer. Offering all the content from the site, with superb sound quality, it gives you the freedom to choose between FM, DAB and internet radio and also allows you to enjoy the music the on your mp3 player.

The Rp5 is automatically synchronised with Radiopaq.com through a wi-fi connection, meaning you can access your favourite stations and shows from either your computer or your Rp5.

The product was announced in 2008, but the launch was delayed in order to incorporate a number of new technologies which will make it even more user friendly - the Rp5 is now set to be available from late Summer 2009.

And we didn't stop there. Because we want you to enjoy great sound quality wherever you are and whatever you're listening to, we created the Intelligent Audio range of accessories for use with your own mp3 player, mobile phone, laptop or other portable audio device.

Radiopaq is a young consumer electronics company in the web services industry. The Radiopaq.com service is completely free, funded by our work on the Rp5 and the Intelligent Audio range. We are also open to and are continually developing relationships with other companies who would like to use our technologies in their own products.
